skin care FAQ

Getting Started

  • If you’re new, I recommend starting with the New Client Assessment + Facial. This allows me to assess your skin, understand your needs, and create a personalized treatment plan tailored specifically to you.

  • Your first visit includes a thorough consultation, skin analysis, and a customized treatment based on what your skin needs that day. You’ll also leave with guidance on treatments and home care to support your results.

  • You don’t need to figure that out on your own. Every treatment is customized, so booking a consultation facial ensures you’re getting exactly what your skin needs.

Skin Concerns + Approach

  • Yes - this is a strong focus in my studio. Hormonal changes can lead to dryness, sensitivity, breakouts, and pigmentation. Treatments are designed to support the skin barrier, improve hydration, and restore balance.

  • Absolutely. I specialize in treating sensitive and rosacea-prone skin using gentle, barrier-supportive treatments that reduce inflammation and strengthen the skin over time.

  • Yes, although my focus is more on mature skin, sensitivity, and long-term skin health. If you’re experiencing acne, I can create a customized plan to help clear and support your skin.

Treatments

  • Microneedling is a versatile treatment used to improve a range of concerns, including mature skin, acne, texture, and overall skin health. By stimulating collagen and supporting the skin’s natural repair process, it helps strengthen and refine the skin over time. Treatments are always customized to your skin, especially when working with sensitive or rosacea-prone skin.

  • Chemical peels are a targeted treatment used to improve concerns such as pigmentation, uneven texture, acne, and dullness. They work by gently exfoliating the skin and encouraging renewal, resulting in clearer, smoother, more refined skin over time. Each peel is selected and customized based on your skin’s needs and sensitivity.

  • Some treatments have little to no downtime, while others may involve a  couple days of redness or light peeling. I’ll always guide you on what to expect based on your treatment.

  • This depends on your skin and goals. Many clients come monthly for maintenance, while others follow a more targeted treatment plan. We’ll create a schedule that works for you.

Home Care + Results

  • Home care plays an important role in your results. In-studio treatments create change in the skin, but your daily routine is what supports and maintains that progress. I’ll recommend what makes sense for your skin - simple, effective, and tailored to you.

  • My goal is to guide you toward what will work best for your skin. If you already have products, I’m happy to review them and make thoughtful adjustments if needed.

Booking + Policies

  • I kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for any cancellations or changes. Appointments canceled within 48 hours are subject to a 50% fee, and same-day cancellations or no-shows are charged 100% of the service. This helps protect appointment availability for all clients.

  • If you’re running late, your treatment may be shortened to stay on schedule. In some cases, the appointment may need to be rescheduled.

  • Appointments are reserved specifically for you and are not transferable.
